American indie/roots folk jam band Dispatch formed in 1996 at Middleton College in Vermont. Dispatch experimented with a variety of different genres, making them a difficult band to categorize. Some of the genres include reggae, ska, folk, funk, rock, flamenco and hip-hop. The band was active until 2002, and has previously come together three times for reunion concerts in 2004, 2007 and 2009.
