The Fleet Foxes formed in Seattle, Washington in 2006 but really gained popularity two years later after the release of their second EP, Sun Giant, and their debut full length album Fleet Foxes.  The band was formed by two close friends that bonded over a mutual appreciation of Bob Dylan and Neil Young. Robin Pecknold and Skyler Skjelset are these two friends that met in high school and started making music together. Since their debut, the band has released four albums, with the latest just released in May. They will be at the State Theatre in Minneapolis this Sunday, July 17th performing their newest music LIVE and would love to see you there!
