English musician, singer, producer and guitarist Peter Frampton first became interested in music at age seven and was already teaching himself how to play the banjolele, guitar and piano. By age ten he was already playing in a band called The Little Ravens. Both he and David Bowie attended Bromley Technical School, with The Little Ravens playing on the same bill at school as Bowie's band George and the Dragons. Donald Fagen and Walter Becker are the core members behind the rock band Steely Dan. The band had it's main peak of popularity in the late 1970s, with the release of seven albums blending jazz, funk, rock, R&B and pop. Becker and Fagen play the complex jazz-influenced structures and harmonies of the band's music while a revolving cast of rock and pop studio musicians make up the rest. Since their debut, the band has released a total of nine studio albums and are currently on tour. Raised in New York City, Tony Bennett began singing at an early age and by age 10 he had already performed at the opening of the Triborough Bridge. He also fought in the final stages of World War II as an infantryman with the U.S. Army in the European Theatre. Afterwards, he developed his singing technique and signed with Colombia Records. His first number one popular song was "Because Of You" and was released in 1951. He recorded his signature song, "I Left My Heart in San Francisco," in 1962. Bennett staged a remarkable comeback in the late 1980s after a downturn during the height of rock era, putting out gold record albums again and expanding his audience.
