Puscifer started as a side project by Maynard James Keenan from the bands Tool and A Perfect Circle. Keenan is the only permanent member of the group and he considers the project to be his "creative subconscious." Since the band became active in 1995, there have been two studio albums released, three remix albums, two EPs and five music video/DVDs.
