Actor, film director, film producer, screenwriter and comedian Martin Lawrence came to fame during the 1990s, establishing a Hollywood career as a leading actor in his own television series Martin from 1992 - 1997 and the films Bad Boys and Bad Boys II. Martin has been nominated for numerous awards and has won several including the BET Icon Comedy Award in 2005.
