The Twin Cities Hottest Summer Events of 2011

If you're like me, you're highly anticipating the arrival of summer. After the winter we've had this year, I think it's safe to say we all deserve a very long, hot summer and I hope that's what we get. Fortunately for us, the Twin Cities are filled with a huge variety of events all summer long. Let me give fill you in on some of the major events taking place this summer that Ticket King is currently selling tickets to. Glee LIVE will be at the Target Center on Wednesday, June 1.  Cirque du Soleil - Ovo will be performed Under the Grand Chapiteau Mall of America the first two weekends in June. Tim Allen will be at Treasure Island Showroom on Sunday, June 5. Iron and Wine will be at First Avenue on Wednesday, June 8. Moody Blues will be at the Orpheum Theatre on Thursday, June 9. Taylor Swift will be at the Xcel Energy Center on Tuesday & Wednesday, June 14-15. Rihanna and Cee Lo Green will be at the Target Center on Thursday, June 16. Jethro Tull will be at the Orpheum Theatre on Saturday, June 25.


The Monkees will be at the Minnesota Zoo Amphitheatre on Friday & Saturday, July 1-2. The Black Keys will be at Roy Wilkins Auditorium on Sunday, July 3. Josh Groban will be at the Target Center on Friday, July 8.  Katy Perry will be at the Xcel on Saturday, July 9. New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys will be at the Target Center on Friday, July 15. U2 will be at the TCF Bank Stadium on Saturday, July 23. 


Def Leppard and Heart will be at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand on Friday, August 26. The Happy Together Tour will be at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand on Monday, August 29. Toby Keith will be at the State Fair Grandstand on Wednesday, August 31.
