Clay Aiken began his rise to fame after appearing on the second season of American Idol in 2003. Later that same year, Aiken released his multi-platinum debut album Measure of a Man on the RCA Records label. Since then, Aiken has released four more albums on that label before switching over to Decca Records. Aiken's first album released under his new label titled Tried and True was released last June.
