Rock of Ages is a rock/jukebox musical built around classic rock hits from the famous glam metal bands of the 1980s. The musical features songs by Journey, Pat Benatar, Styx, Steve Perry, Bon Jovi, Twisted Sister, Poison and Asia, among other well-known bands. The performance is known for being more lighthearted and comedic than most other Broadway shows so I would highly recommend it for anyone that grew up in this era. Rock of Ages has been nominated for five Tony Awards and received two Drama League nominations.
