The Suburbs and The Suicide Commandos Tickets First Avenue

The Suburbs and The Suicide Commandos are two punk rock bands that both formed in the 1970s in Minneapolis.  The Suicide Commandos formed in 1975 and released two EPs on an indie label before signing with Blank Records in 1977.  They released two albums on the Blank Records label before breaking up in 1979. Despite their short 4-year stint together, they were still considered the pioneers of the punk rock music scene in the Twin Cities and influenced bands like The Suburbs, The Replacements and Soul Asylum.  The Suburbs formed in 1977 and were popular through the late 1980s.  The band released a total of 20 albums on several different record labels.  Both bands performed frequently at First Avenue and now they're returning for two reunion shows, with one tonight at 8pm and the other on Saturday night at 6pm.  If you would like to attend either show, get your Suicide Commandos and Suburbs tickets today!  We have tickets for just $35!!  You won't find better deals anywhere else so get yours now!

Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers Tickets Are Hot!

Hey Vikings & Packers fans, listen up!  After the Minnesota Vikings dramatic overtime win over the Arizona Cardinals yesterday, we can safely say the Vikings are still in it to win it.  The win moves them to 3-5 and keeps them in the running for the playoffs.  This scenario seems all too familiar to us in Minnesota, doesn't it?  Maybe this season will be different. Maybe we could actually make it to the Super Bowl.  Our defense definitely played a lot better yesterday, recording six sacks against the Cardinals, so maybe this could mean things are turning around.  The Vikes will play two away games before returning home to face their favorite rivals, the Green Bay Packers, on Sunday, November 21st at noon.  If you would like to attend the most popular home game of the season, get your Vikings vs. Packers tickets while our selection is still so great.  We currently have upper level seats starting at just $155 each or lowers at $260.  We also carry the VIP parking passes that allow you to park ON the Metrodome property, like a rockstar, with all the players and coaches!!  Get yours today! GO VIKINGS!!!!
