Wizard of Oz San Diego Civic Theatre Tickets

The Wizard of Oz was a 1902 musical play extravaganza based on the novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum, which was originally published in 1900 and has been adapted to several different works.  The most famous is the 1939 film, The Wizard of Oz, starring Judy Garland.  There has also been many stage adaptations including the musical that began in Chicago, moved to New York a year later and endured a long, successful run on Broadway. That same musical is still being performed today and will be running at the San Diego Civic Theatre in San Diego, California on the weekend of February 18-19, with a show at 7:30 pm each evening.
