Ryan Dusick, Mickey Madden, Jesse Carmichael & Adam Levine formed a garage band called Kara's Flowers in 1995 and released an album together two years later.  In 2001, the band reformed with guitarist James Valentine and began a new path together under the name Maroon 5. The following year they released their debut album Songs About Jane, which enjoyed major chart success. Maroon 5 has released two additional albums since their debut, with the latest Hands All Over released last month.
