Next Friday, December 11th and Saturday the 12th, the Great Russian Nutcracker will be doing performances at the Oprheum Theatre in Minneapolis. This Russian fairy tale-ballet was first composed in 1891 and the first performance was held as a double premiere together with Tchaikovsky's last opera Iolanta in 1892.
